Well thats ok too, that is if you wish to pay some money out in order for others to see you. You have two options you can optimize the free category or you can pay. Its up to you. My philosophy is utilize as many free things as I you can, but also take into consideration the other items that cost money. Obliviously these items may be worth their weight in gold. Lets go over a few things you can do to create a traffic stampede. 1. Ezine publishing: An ezine is defined as an online magazine with subscribers. You can purchase a spot in the ezine and have your information published to subscribers. Take note that some of these lists are huge. So with 80,000 subscribers you would definitely get some attention. To find these ezines check out Charlie Page at http://www.ezinedirectory.com/ the other great thing about ezines is that they establish a targeted traffic. You find exactly who you are aiming to talk to. 2. Free Advertising: Soak up all that you can find. And check out what their ratings are at http://www.alexa.com/ and http://www.metricsmarket.com/ these two sites will tell you if they are worth spending time at. 3. Making Money Blogging: You dont need to have a website to get started. Go to blogger.com and set up your account. Creating a traffic Stampede is as easy as writing content. Search engines like lots of fresh content. So keep writing my friend. 4. Pay per Click: This will cost you some money, but the good thing is you can set a budget. Pay per click on Yahoo is a form of advertising in which you select keywords and bid for them according to what your competitors are paying. They often are placed on the right hand side of the page. But be careful, Yahoo likes your money and it can be spent rather quickly. Also you need to determine whether Yahoo is generating a traffic stampede or just sucking money. 5. Give away lots of FREE stuff away, and Have a FREE newsletter. Everyone likes free things such as e-books, and having a free newsletter collects email addresses.
